Misrata Pakistan knew about the refuge of bin Laden two years ago

Pakistani authorities have informed the U.S. about a possible safe haven for Osama bin Laden in 2009. .

In an interview with the BBC the minister said the location of the house of Al-Qaeda "in Abbotabad was released the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan two years ago . At the same time, information was given to the CIA.

During the interview, Bashir also condemned the declaration of CIA director, Leon Panetta, who Islamabad not advised of the operation to eliminate bin Laden in order to avoid obstacles on the part of Pakistan. The Minister stressed that the Americans underestimated the contribution of his country in the fight against international terrorism and that Pakistan played a key role in the success of the raid.

As previously reported by some diplomatic sources, information on Bin Laden's home was confirmed after the CIA captured the messenger of al Qaeda, Abu Ahmad.
