Does Westmead Allow Water Births?

recent weeks have told of the Australian championship intercollegiate swimming. The relative share is the experience, but overall the tournament develops more or less like this:

Elementary School:

1 - The third week of February each school's students and test their weapon the "selection" of swimming.

2 - The following week competes District. In our case, 8 schools are those which form the District.

3 - A week after the winners of each district competition, they compete to claim the top spot in the Division. In our case the Division has 6 Districts, which contain 57 schools in total.

4 - A week after the winners of each division compete for the Region. Our region (Southern East), contains 6 divisions, which include 303 schools.

5 - Then the winners from each region compete in the Conference. There are 3 regions in our conference (South).

6 - Then the winners of the three conferences compete for the title of State (Victoria).

7 - And finally the winners of each state meet in the Capital (Canberra) to define the national title.

Schools:

In Australia, primary schools are more numerous, more local to each neighborhood and smaller compared to the secondary. In the area where we live, then there are 8 primary for District 1 High School is covering the same area.

That is, for intercollegiate competitions, the District does not exist. The selection of a school goes into direct competition with those of the same division. Ie equal the primary, but step 1 is more difficult and skips the step 2, so starting a week later.

A week later that Florence began Mica. It was a place in the selection of school, and was assigned to compete in three categories: invidual freestyle, butterfly and individual freestyle relay. This week competed in the tournament of the Division, and brought the top of individual butterfly, the second individual freestyle, and first place in freestyle relay.

In a couple of weeks, the girls pure stroke, filled the house with medals and awards, and are both competing and (in primary and secondary) by Melbourne South East Region, very significant geographical area.

The merit is that they got there just pure beautiful. At this level are already faced with young athletes who train seriously 4 times per week, or private school teams that train in advance for this competition in their own Olympic pools. Flor Mica and recreational level only swim once a week at the club in the neighborhood, and presented to the powers with their backs.

But this was a change, however. We have an appointment, so that within a week, a professional swimming club, those that generate the Olympic athletes, to try. We'll see what the verdict and that is what girls want to do.

Meanwhile

Luke also shares with its sister water training. But he has a different profile.
